Hey y'all,
Such a wild week!!
I have an announcement: I am opening a new area and they made me a trainer. Presidente was about to close the area here in Jalapa and I was the last chance. Now he is not only keeping it open but sent me and Torres a new set of Missionaries. Torres companion already has some time in the mission but mine is still in training. Torres gets the old area and I am opening the new area.
Tuesday and Wednesday we spent running around teaching like normal but also we had to look for a new house because that's when I got the call from the AP's that I will be opening the new area in Jalapa and training a new missionary, which is super exciting but also super stressful, but it will go good I have the faith and we will work like mules like normal to baptize.
Saturday I did splits with the ZL's and one of the companionship's had a baptism so we had to go to the river. Only problem is that the river was super low, so we dug down and built a dam to make a baptismal font Nica style. It was a lot of fun, but it wasted a lot of time.
Then Sunday I went back up to Jalapa to have our baptism, we baptized Ines, thus far the biggest change I have seen it a convert so amazing so many miracles. We had 21 in church which is good, but not enough, one of my motto's is "Happy always, Content Never!"
My new Comp is Elder Carlisle he seems super cool, only have known him for an hour. But we are gonna catch fire and baptize a ton of people. Its funny in this mission, if you are not baptizing it is a sin, and though November and December are historically slow because of an influx of money due to harvest season I know we can find the elect for the Lord.
